Our client's vision

Our client envisioned transforming their outdated grey bathroom into a space that exuded both luxury and a vibrant modern aesthetic.
Their dream was to infuse the room with a palette of rich colors, adding warmth and comfort to their daily routine.

Central to their vision was the creation of a spacious, comfortable bath area, tailored for tall individuals. They wanted a bathing experience that felt indulgent and relaxing, without the constraints of a standard-sized tub.

Details

Freestanding corner bath tub

To freestand or not to freestand – a question every future bath owner needs to answer before going ahead.
Will there be enough space around to clean? Will the bath be comfortable enough to lie-in? What are the sizes available? How will it optically look in the room?

We consider ourselves lucky to be able to work with great manufacturers, like Bette, offering great quality products in many shapes and sizes, in this case it being the Starlet IV Silhouette, a semi-freestanding  185x85cm enamelled steel corner bath, giving the bath a freestanding look, with more internal space and much easier maintenance.

Rustic Wood Accents

We love thinking outside the box and introducing simple solutions here and there.

In this case, the we had to finish the the window cill and the half-height stud wall behind the basin/wc, but we wanted to avoid using the tiles.

Instead, we opted to real wood, stained and oiled to a rustic finish, to match the glazed tiles and the washbasin cabinet.

The leftovers were utilised for two symmetrical wall mounted shelves to accompany the round LED mirror.

Small Details

We believe that small details matter, they give the room character and quirkiness and add life to the room.

Small things like the veins in the tiles reflecting the light,  the brush brass brackets matching the brassware, and space for living plants to match the green tiles and wood tops are just some parts of this lovely bathroom, bring it all together.
