The client aspired for a light and airy bathroom that delivered a luxurious feel while remaining practical for the whole family.
With a clear preference for a modern aesthetic, they envisioned a bathroom with black and white tones that balanced style and functionality.

Freestanding slipper bath tub
As a true centerpiece of the room, the freestanding Slipp bath tub by BC Designs effortlessly bridges the gap between luxury and practicality. Its elegant curves and lustrous surface are not just beautiful to behold, but also provide a comfortable, enveloping bathing experience – a perfect place for a leisurely soak after a long day.
Adding to the practicality, a thoughtfully designed wall niche sits just above the tub. This illuminated recessed area provides an accessible storage spot for bath-time essentials and allows for the room to retain its clean, minimalist aesthetic while providing the necessary function for a family bathroom.
Double wash basin
Positioned under the double oval LED mirrors and against the marble backdrop, the double wash basin by GSI Ceramica, accompanied by taps from the Blackstone collection by Graff, finished in matt black, adds to the room’s modern charm. It’s complemented by a bespoke AlfaPlus M2M cabinet with unique, textured soft-closing drawers in TX U190 Black.
This combination ensures that the bathroom is not just visually stunning but also caters to the busy mornings and bedtime routines of a family.
Large marble tiles
Covering the floor and walls are large 80x80cm Statuario Splendente porcelain tiles. The light tones of these tiles contrast beautifully with the matte black accents around the room, from the tile trim to the Cannon towel radiator by Radox. Combined with clever lighting around niches and mirrors, these elements create an overall sense of grandeur, while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for all users of this family bathroom.
